To celebrate this, and to help meet the goals and objectives of the City of Niagara Falls Seniors Advisory Committee, the committee has schedule multiple presentations and events throughout the month of June.  These events are focused on education and learning for this age demographic will also being opportunities for learning and input from the community to the committee.

The Belongathon is a Canada-Wide walk and roll fundraiser hosted by Karis disability services. This year, your donations will fund inclusive education projects in Guatemala. In Canada, they will go to Family Camps, retreats, and events for people with disabilities.

the Peterborough Concert Band will perform at St John’s Anglican Church
 during the church’s annual Strawberry Social which runs from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

Tickets for the Strawberry Social are $10 beginning June 2. Tickets will be $12 at the door.
Children 5 and under are free.

We invite you to join The Peterborough Concert Band at St. John’s Strawberry Social on June 23rd, 2024The Peterborough Concert Band performs at St John’s Anglican Church as part of the annual Strawberry Social. Music by the two winners of the Emerging Composers’Program will be premiered. Music includes Birdland Baba Yetu and other lively tunes. The Strawberry social is a time-honoured tradition with delicious refreshments including fresh strawberries. Tickets go on sale at St John’s starting June 2nd.Proceeds go to the School Breakfast Program. The band will be in the sanctuary if it rains.

This annual book sale is the largest of its kind in.  Besides thousands of novels, there will be children's books, non-fiction, DVDs, etc.  It is organized by the Friends of the Smiths Falls Library and the proceeds go to the purchase of furnishings for the newly renovated children's library.
