Almaguin Community Soundscapes surrounds one with the sounds of spring using a multi-channel speaker system and recordings made by residents in the local region. The spring season is a special time of the year in the Almaguin Highlands as the snow melts, the ice breaks up on the lakes and the arrival of insects and birds is loudly announced by the sounds made by peepers. Exhibition open until June 9, Thursdays to Mondays, 10 am to 4 pm.

Saturday, May 3, 2025, Aaliyah Dance & Friends will be hosting our annual fundraiser for Victim Services of Leeds and Grenville at 120 McLean Blvd E, Maitland Hall (MERC). Join us for a night of music and dance in support of victims of violence. We will have special musical guests, Janessa Van Koppen and the duo ‘Syd x Dex’. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Cash bar. Sizzling soon-to-be-Summer concert by Tempus Choral Society. Your favourites, like 'Singin in the Rain, Anything Goes, Moon Dance, Bridge over Troubled Water, Sweet Caroline' and many more. Featured our 65 voice choir and our Tempus4Us children's choir. 

For the month of April we will be displaying works from the Lambton County Arts Collective. Featuring photography from graduates of their two year program alongside pottery from students and instructors of the ceramics classes.  Please join us from 11am-4pm Wednesday to Sunday to take in the show.  While in house, please feel free to browse our non-profit gift shop and show support for the local visual art, music and literature communities.  

Join us for an evening of Music, Poetry, and Storytelling.  Performers of all kinds are welcome to the microphone in a quiet and intimate setting. The House Piano and guitar are available to use. Please show us your unique talents, or just come by to enjoy the show.  Admission is free, doors open at 6:45 pm.
