Chatham
Adult Language and Learning has organized the Newcomer Welcome Fair to provide information and support to our immigrants and newcomers in Chatham-Kent by introducing them to various services and organizations in our communities.
Over 20 community organizations, service providers, government agencies, and community groups will be present on Wednesday to provide newcomers with information on possible employment or volunteer opportunities and services available to them in Chatham-Kent and Canada.
All our settlement services are funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development.
Designed for community members ages 55+ who are wishing to improve their cardio, strength, balance and flexibility regardless of their current ability level. The program will be led by trained volunteers, who ensure the program is run in a safe manner. Classes can be done seated or standing. Don't want to exercise alone? Join the instructor virtually from our Centre in room 205.
This after-school program is provided to youth in grades 7 to 12 every Tuesday starting at 2:45pm. This program is offered in partnership with the Municipality of Port Hope and Port Hope High School
