Community Event - Windsor/Leamington - 3rd Annual Rose City Christmas Cabaret

A Rose City Christmas Cabaret is Windsor’s premier Holiday Big Band show, taking place at the historic Olde Walkerville Theatre. Last year, the event raised more than $3,600 for Sparky’s Toy Drive Windsor and attracted over 200 attendees.

A collaboration between two of Windsor’s finest young jazz groups – The Coffee House Combo & The Border City Collective – the event features a cash bar, cabaret-style seating, and a diverse program of holiday favourites spanning a variety of genres from big band jazz to Motown and soul.

Tickets are now available online through Eventbrite.ca and are $15 dollars in advance or $20 at the door, or you can donate a toy of similar value.

Featuring Christopher Coyea and Alex Fleuriau Chateau with Sue Baker, Lee Anne Frederickson, Terry O'Reilly, Megan Quick, Cameron Wales, Guy Wales, Aria Whisselle, Margaret Whisselle, The Irreverends of Marianne Emig-Carr, Lynne Gardiner and Catherine Oxenford-Grant. As well as the SLC Music Theatre Students and the Community Christmas Swing Band.

Advent is the season that paves the way for the burst of glory at Christmas. Come and enjoy five centuries of beautiful choral music for Advent, with the 18-voice County Chamber Choir under Michael Goodwin. St Mary Magdalene Church, Picton, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30. Tickets at the door are $5.00 for students and $20.00 for adults, with all proceeds going to the Recreation Outreach Centre (ROC).
