The Volunteer Committee of the Kingston Symphony Association invites you to participate in our new fund-raising evening A Symphony of Tastes taking place on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Grand Theatre. The evening promises delightful tastes of local food, scotch, wine, and craft beer while being serenaded by members of the Kingston Symphony. In addition, we have a wonderful silent auction with a number of exciting experiences for sale.

Blessing of the Animals Service at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas' Anglican Church (church on the hill at the corner of Bridge and Church Streets). The community is invited to celebrate the feast of St. Francis, the Patron Saint of all animals and the environment.  All are invited. The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Champlain East will be hosting its 16th annual Mental Illness Awareness Walk (MIAW). The event will take place on Tuesday, October 8th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at 14 Marlborough Street, Army Navy Air Force. We welcome all to come out and parade the downtown area in order to raise awareness and support mental health. After the walk, a ceremony will follow to allow our walkers to visit booths set up by local agencies, to socialize and to share their stories to reduce the stigma of mental illness.
