Community Event - Brockville/Prescott - Roy MacGregor Comes to Brockville

The Friends of the Brockville Public Library present Roy MacGregor, journalist/author extraordinaire on Saturday, October 26 at 2 p.m. in the Lighthouse Theatre at the Aquatarium. 

Tickets are $20 and available at SNAPd 1000 Islands or at the Library.

Seating is limited, so get your tickets early.

Anyone who loves hockey will not want to miss this event. MacGregor is the author of the Screech Owls mystery series, Canoe Country, A Life in the Bush, Home Team: Fathers, Sons and Hockey as well as a retired journalist. He wrote for The Globe and Mail, The Ottawa Citizen and many more National Magazines and newspapers.

The Belleville Veterans' Council invites all to attend the annual Remembrance Day service on November 11 at 11 am at the Belleville Cenotaph.

Receptions will be held at ANAF Duke of Edinburgh Unit 201, 187 Front St, and The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 99, 132 Pinnacle St after the service.  All are invited.
