DIRECTED BY PENNY NASH: A ridiculous but surprisingly faithful rendition of the Dickens classic. Ebenezer Scrooge is haunted by the ghosts of Jacob Marley, Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and the Spirit of Christmas Yet to Come. Faced with his own mortality and the evil results of his misanthropic, miserly ways, Scrooge is redeemed, reconciled with his nephew and his neighbours, and becomes a second father to his assistant's son, Tiny Tim. Ludlam finds the humor as well as the pathos in this Victorian melodrama.

Schulich School of Education, Nipissing University Eddie Concert Band cordially invite you to our concert on Friday, Nov. 15th at 7:30 p.m. in the Nipissing University Theatre. Cost is a donation at the door.
This concert will première a commissioned work by Canadian composer Vince Gassi, written specifically for the Eddie Band. We are eager to welcome you to this exciting endeavour.

Bake Sale at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 374 Stewart Blvd, Brockville on Saturday, November 16th from 9 am - noon.  

A variety of homemade soups, sandwiches and desserts are served at the lunch on Friday, Nov. 29th from 11am to 1pm.  The proceeds of this lunch, which has been held for 10 years, help with the outreach of the church. Minimum $5 donation at the door. Come, bring a friend, enjoy a delicious lunch and know that you have also contributed to many worthwhile causes.  This lunch is held downstairs. Chris Murphy, who performs with Turpins Trail, will be performing a solo show at Athens United Church on Sunday, Nov 17th at 2pm.  Come enjoy the Celtic sounds of this very talented singer who is just back from a couple months performing in Newfoundland.
