Music on the Veranda at Fulford Place Museum is back by popular demand! Every Thursday from mid-July through the end of August we will have performances from 12pm-1pm on the veranda, overlooking the St. Lawrence River. Pack a lunch and join us for a joy-filled and toe tapping good time! July 18th, The History Buffs will be arriving in costume to sing about the history of our beautiful country. They are an interactive family trio who play antique instruments. Stephen Goodberry and Debra Currier will join us on July 25th. This duo does a selection of tribute shows, as well as variety acts including songs from the 1940s to the present. On August 1st, local Athens singer Katie Baker will be entertaining us, joined by guitarist Mark Bergman. Fiddler Mary Kennedy will entertain the audience with Canadian fiddle history on August 8th. Her show includes fiddling tunes from Irish, Scottish, French and Metis roots. Performer and guitar teacher Tony Komery will entertain with a variety of Flamenco, Latin, and Jazz music on August 15th. We are pleased to host Ron Donnelly and the Marlboreens on August 22nd. They are a band who play traditional country, country gospel, rock and roll, and dance tunes. August 29th Yvan Petit, country singer, guitar player, and member of Johnny Reid’s band will play for us. Admission to Music on the Veranda is by donation. Fulford Place Museum is located at 287 King Street East, Brockville.
