We can help.  The Quinte Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society presentation will feature "The History of the Gerow family" by Jane Simpson.  Three sons of the family were forced to choose their allegiance to the English or to a seductive republicanism. Members of the Alyea, Bogart, Bonter, Cole, Lent, Huff, Parliament, Peck, Roblin,Van Cott, Way, Wannamaker and Westerfeld families, in addition to the Gerow family, may wish to attend as their ancestors experienced the same fate during the Revolution.  Held Sat, Oct 19, 2019, commencing at 1 pm at Quinte West Public Library, Trenton. Healing and Prayer service Sunday 20 October 2019 at 7:00 pm, Christ Anglican Church, 312 Greenwood Avenue in North Bay.  There will be a liturgy of music [traditional and contemporary], Scripture and a teaching based on the theme of healing, followed by an opportunity for individual prayer ministry.   Everyone is welcome.

North Bay Horticultural Society will be meeting on Monday, October 28th at 7 p.m. at 312 Greenwood Avenue - upstairs due to the election. Our guest speaker is Gerald Hogan and the topic is: Nature and Garden Photography. Gerald will be presenting photography tips and photos for gardeners and enthusiasts. There will also be a brief meeting, social and questions for our Master Gardeners. New members are always welcome. Single annual membership is $10, family rate is $15. Hope to see you there.

The Ukrainian National Federation of Windsor is holding their annual Fall Kozak Bingo. Food will be available for purchase to dine in or take out, along with baked goods and various wares for sale by community members. The bingo for various prizes will begin at 2pm.
