Festival of Golf - Preview Party Hosted by the Children's Treatment Centre and Foundation of Chatham-Kent at Rossini's Restaurant. September 19th, 6-11pm.

The Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation is hosting the 4th Annual Festival of Golf. Returning again this year, is a Preview Night, where guests will enjoy a delicious Hillbilly Hoedown inspired meal and drinks prepared by Rossini's Restaurant, followed by entertainment by local band, Walkin' 47.

To bring awareness to the issues of homelessness and addictions, Chatham-Kent Drug Awareness Council with funding from the Chatham Kent Community Foundation, presents this screening that was over 10 years in the making.

SYNOPSIS

Filmed over a decade, US AND THEM is a deeply visceral film about transformation through human connection. It all begins when filmmaker Krista Loughton is questioned by addiction expert Dr. Gabor Maté about her need to relieve pain in the world. This takes her back in time when she befriended four chronically homeless people in an effort to help them heal their lives.
