Join us on Friday October 11th from 10:00am-11:00am at the Cornwall Public Library to learn how BounceBack; a free self-help program by telephone can help YOU manage low mood, worry and stress.

Does life sometimes have you feeling down? BounceBack can help!

Benefits to you: FREE, anonymous, workbooks are mailed directly to your home with a telephone coach to offer support. What are you waiting for ? Come and learn more with Angele D'Alessio Engagement Coordinator of the BounceBack Program on this exciting new initiative funded by the Governement of Ontario. Please register online by searching Bounce Back Cornwall -Seniors on EVENTBRITE or by calling 613-361-9493 by Oct 10th to receive double ballots towards the door prize. Recieve one door prize ballot for Walk-In's.

Une foule d’animations gratuites vous sont offertes en octobre dans les bibliothèques de la MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut. Le Réseau BIBLIO des Laurentides et la MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut ont mis sur pied un programme qui permet à chacune des bibliothèques du territoire de présenter une activité d’animation offerte à toute la population. Cette initiative est réalisée grâce au soutien financier du gouvernement du Québec et de la MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut dans le cadre de l’Entente de développement culturel.

Join us October 25 at Amici’s Conference & Banquet Centre to enjoy an elegant evening indulging in seasonally inspired food by an exclusive group of local chefs. Sample your way through each freshly harvested home grown dish paired perfectly with wine tastings and craft beer. 

 

Doors open at 6pm. Be entertained by Gail D. Jazz trio, food & beverage tasting stations, a prize raffle and at 8pm sharp local chefs hit the stage for a live auction offering gourmet in-home or exclusive private dinners. 

 

Led by Stoute Catering, Buck Marketing, and an enthusiastic volunteer event committee, this evenings proceeds are supporting Big Brother Big Sister of South Niagara’s mentoring programs.

Looking for something to do on Wednesday nights 7 to 8:30. Come join us for non-competitive mixed badminton at Jeanne-Lajoie school, far door entrance...gym to the left. Badminton runs from September to May, choice of fees for full season $80 or drop in for $5 a night. No experience necessary. Must be 18 years of age or older and must wear indoor running shoes. It is a night out filled with fun and laughs...and exercise too!
