Healing, Prayer & Praise service Sunday 17 March 2019 at 7:00 pm, Christ Anglican Church, 312 Greenwood Avenue in North Bay.  There will be a liturgy of music [traditional and contemporary], Scripture and a teaching based on the theme of healing, followed by an opportunity for individual prayer ministry.   Everyone is welcome.

The Canadian Cancer Society Belleville office is seeking Daffodil Pin Ambassadors for our Daffodil Campaign in April. Volunteers who are comfortable meeting with the general public in a friendly and welcoming manner will be at local storefront locations, providing the opportunity for people to make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society and offer a Daffodil Pin as a recognized symbol of the efforts being made to support those affected by cancer. Shifts are scheduled in 2 to 3 hour increments on April 4-7, 13-14, 20-21, 27-28. Interested groups who would like to adopt a location for a day can contact 613-962-0686or email amccann@ontario.cancer.ca. Door-To-Door Canvassers are also needed to assist us with our Daffodil Door–to-Door Campaign in April. If you are enthusiastic and interested in fundraising to assist those living with cancer, and have the ability to go door-to-door in your own neighbourhood, please call 613-962-0686 or email amccann@ontario.cancer.ca.

Windsor Symphony Orchestra presents "Farewell Symphony" at St. Andrew's United Church, 85 William Street S., Chatham at 7:30 pm.

WSO Music Director Robert Franz will conduct Haydn's Farewell Symphony written to protest the long hours that his musicians were forced to work. Musicians left the stage one by one until only two remained. The program will also include works of Schubert and Delius.
