When victims of sexual assault and domestic violence go into our hospital here in Chatham-Kent, they often have to give up their clothing for investigation and forensic testing. When you donate your empties to the Zonta Club Chatham-Kent bottle drive you are helping local victims leave our hospital with a new outfit rather than hospital attire. Monies from the bottle drive keep the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Unit stocked up to help any local person in need.
You can bring empties to Rubies Inc. (Chatham, Ontario) Grand Ave any time (look for sign guiding you to the right of the building). If you would prefer a pick-up, please message the club so they can get your information for a Tuesday, May 21 visit!
