Sarnia Horticultural Society 39th Annual Plant Sale, Sat., May 11, 8 am to 11 pm

The Prince Edward County Community Safety & Wellbeing Committee is hosting an educational and FUN  afternoon in the Rotary Hall at the Prince Edward Community Centre, 375 Main Street on Thursday, June 6th at 1:00pm.  There will be vendors showing off the latest in mobility aids such as canes, walkers, scooters, and much more.  Come at 1:00 pm to visit the exhibitors, presentations start at 1:30pm, followed by a medical scooter demonstration by the Fire Chief, Deputy Chief of Paramedic Services and the Detachment Commander of the OPP. Medical scooters will be available to try out and participants can bring their own and run the scooter course. This Mobility Scooter Rodeo is free for all and refreshments will be available.  Free transportation will be provided. Come on out and enjoy good food and conversation with old and new friends and learn something new, too on Wednesday, May 29th at 12 noon.  The menu features homemade soup, chicken with mushroom sauce, potato, vegetable, lemon pie, bread and butter, and coffee or tea and will be catered by Wheel house and Occasions Catering. The cost is $10.00 per person. There will be a presentation by Motion on mobility products. This event is sponsored by The Prince Edward County Community Care for Seniors Association and will be held in the Hillier Town Hall.
