Since 2009 various charitable groups in Tecumseh and Essex County have benefitted from over $330,000 in proceeds from Tecumseh Mayor Gary McNamara’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Now we’re ready to kick off the next decade by making this year’s event bigger and better than ever!

Join us at Beach Grove Golf & Country Club on Monday, September 9 where you will enjoy coffee and baked goods from McDonald’s, lunch at the turn, dinner, golf contests, and silent and live auctions. Each golfer will also go home with a swag bag of items and a gorgeous mum locally grown and donated by The Bloomin’ Gardener.

The majority of proceeds for 2019 will be directed to the Bursary Program at the Windsor Essex Children’s Aid Foundation with the remainder being split amongst various other groups.

Tickets are now on sale for Afternoon Delight, a fun fashion show featuring Canadian made Rapz clothing that’s being held on Wednesday, July 24th, 12:00 noon at Palisade Gardens, 240 Chapel Street, Cobourg. 

Tickets are $30, which includes an afternoon tea with sandwiches, sweets, coffee, tea and wine and they are available at The Little Treasure Shop on the main floor of NHH or at Palisade Gardens. There will be an opportunity to purchase clothing, jewellery and accessories at the end of the show with a 10% discount.

The Employer Event is designed for employers to learn new innovative ways to recruit, retain and train the millennial generation, ages 20-45. Through a brief panel discussion at the beginning of the day, to hands on interactive activities, and simple yet effective creative stimulators, employers will be provided with various ways they can restructure their recruitment practices, retention strategies and training techniques to better employ our new workforce generation. The event is being held at Venture 13 in Cobourg Ontario, on August 20th from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
