Once a Brockville landmark hotel, the Royal Brock Retirement Living community is now celebrating eight wonderful years of creating memories. We invite you to join us on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 100 Stewart Blvd, Brockville, ON K6V 4W3 for an open house event.

Robbie Burns Day Meal to go pick up: January 24, 2025 12pm to 2pm.
The first Burns super was held in Ayrshire, Scotland in 1801 to celebrate the life of Scotland’s National Poet Robert Burns. Robbie Burns Day is considered a key cultural heritage event in Scotland. Hutchsion House Museum will celebrate Robbie Burns Day with a take home meal on January 24, 2025. Celebrate this Scottish icon with a traditional Scottish meal made up of all your Hogmanay favorites. You must pre-order your meals by January 20, 2025. Meals will be available for curbside pick-up between 12pm and 2pm on January 24, 2025. Meals are $30 and will include: a Scotch egg, tatters and neeps, oatcakes, cheese, a sample of potted salmon, shortbread and clootie dumpling. For an extra $5 you can also get a piece of Haggis.

Headed by conductor and music director Tak Kwan, the KSO is now welcoming new members for our winter/spring 2025 season. Rehearsals are held every Wednesday at Mark Street United Church in East City from 10am - 12pm starting on January 8 2025.
We are looking for violin, viola, cello, and bass players who are at approximately an intermediate level. No auditions are necessary. Prospective players can try a session without obligation.

Ottawa musician, Tony D began his musical journey learning guitar by studying any vinyl record he could get his hands on and by his late teens he was making a living in a band full time. Over his career he has recorded 7 indie solo albums as the Tony D Band. He has spent the last 14 years as the lead guitarist for the 2x Juno band MonkeyJunk. In 2020 Tony released, SPEAK NO EVIL, a compilation of instrumentals that span his career.
