No tickets will be sold. A freewill monetary donation will be collected during the concert.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers classes help caregivers take better care of themselves while caring for a friend or relative. The sessions are facilitated by trained Community Care Peterborough staff with experience as caregivers.

This free series of 6 weekly classes are designed to teach caregivers the skills to:

  • Reduce stress
  • Improve self-confidence
  • Manage time, set goals, and solve problems
  • Better communicate feelings
  • Make tough decisions
  • Locate helpful resources

All participants receive a free copy of The Caregivers Helpbook which follows the curriculum and provides additional tools to address specific caregiver issues.

Public Notices/Announcements - Windsor/Leamington - Traffic Interruption Notice – County Road 20

Construction of new concrete curbs and an asphalt pathway will begin along County Road 20 from Sherk Street to County Road 31 (Albuna Townline) on April 15. The project is being undertaken by the County of Essex as part of the County Wide Active Transportation System (CWATS).

During construction, traffic along County Road 20 will be reduced to one lane daily from 7am to 7pm. The estimated project completion date is June 30.

All work operations and lane closures are weather dependent and subject to change.

Motorists are requested to exercise caution and patience during construction for the safety of the public and construction personnel.

For our Spring Tea to be held May 11th at the North Bay Golden Age Club (135 Worthington St. W.)

Any of the following items would be greatly appreciated to have a successful event: Jewellery, Puzzles, Knick Knacks, Books, Videos, Small Toys, China, Glassware or any other small items.

Our storage room is very limited so unfortunately we do not have room for furniture, clothes, blankets, comforters, towels etc...
