Legal Assistance of Windsor will be hosting a Community Town Hall meeting on Thursday May 23 from 6pm to 8pm at the Alan
Wildeman Center for the Creative Arts.
The meeting will give residents the opportunity to tell their stories and discuss the impact of the provincial budget cuts on their lives and on the Community. Marion
Overholt, Executive Director of Legal Assistance of Windsor said “This is an opportunity to come together to discuss the impact of cuts in many public
sectors, such as health, education, legal aid, social assistance and other areas. Our panelists Dave Crosswell, Marina Clemens and Hugo Vega will listen to the
discussions and offer recommendations for us to go forward as a community.”

It's time to end the Summer with a BANG!
On Saturday, August 31st, starting at 6pm, bonfires will be lit on the beach and marshmallow sticks will be ready to roast at Lakewood Park North, 13400 Riverside Dr. in Tecumseh.
Enjoy delicious roasted marshmallows while listening to singer and song-writer, Max Marshall performing a free concert under the gazebo by the beach. The bonfire and concert continues till 8pm.
Starting at 9pm, fireworks will light up the sky over Lakewood Park South.

Transition Brockville's second Green Drinks event takes place Sunday, May 26, 1:30 p.m., at the organic King's Lock Craft Distillery, 5 Newport Drive, Johnstown – just east of Prescott on County Road 2. Sample distillery spirits; socialize over $5 cocktails/spirits and organic cheese samples; learn about the cooperation between the distillery and organic partner Upper Canada Creamery; and tour the distillery. The Downtown Wallaceburg BIA and the Chatham-Kent Police Service are hosting a Bike Rodeo in the Library Parking lot in partnership with the Knights of Pythias Wallaceburg, CKPL Wallaceburg Branch, Neighbourhood Watch, and Wallaceburg Biking Community.
We believe it is important to keep our children safe. A Bike Rodeo is a fun way to help teach children the appropriate cycling skills and to create awareness of bike safety for both children and parents. ?
