Join Adam, our Community Dietitian in the community kitchen, to cook alongside other gents new to cooking and enjoy the meals we prepare. The best thing about cooking is that there is always something new to learn, or, to refi ne. We are pleased to offer a workshop that will focus around the basics of using
a knife in the kitchen. This hands on class will look at how to properly and safely hold a knife, sharpening techniques, varieties of particular cuts as well as tips and tricks to make you more efficient in your preparation of ingredients. $2

This group meets once a month and creates three main dishes, one soup or one salad to take away. We assign tasks and duties as a group. Please bring your own containers suitable for freezing and reheating. This is a hands on workshop. Food Costs $8 per session.
