Museum Windsor is excited to announce that Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) has sponsored a free admission day at the Chimczuk Museum on Saturday, December 8th, 2018.

This family friendly day will feature a number of fun and exciting things to do, including:

  • hands-on winter artifact discovery at 11am and 3pm
  • free balloon sculptures and magic tricks from 1pm – 4pm
  • a guided tour of the new Rotary exhibit at 4pm
  • children’s holiday crafts all day long

While there, you can also explore the new exhibit:  A Century of Service Above Self: The Rotary Club of Windsor (1918)on display through December 2018.

We encourage visitors to bring a non-perishable food item for our Christmas Canned Food Drive.

This event is part of the Rogers Hometown Hockey Event celebrating local NHL hero; Ken Houston (Sept 15, 1953 - March 11, 2018) who was drafted from a tier II Junior A Team, the Chatham Maroons to the Atlanta Flames.

Former NHL Alumni that played with Doc will be at the event signing autographs & sharing stories. A bottle of wine will be given to each ticket holder with Doc's card on it. 

Son's of Kent "Doc's Lager" will be available in Chatham & Dresden for a limited time during the Rogers Hometown Hockey celebrations.

As a proud community of Dresden & Chatham-Kent, please help us celebrate honouring this local Hometown Hero as we change the name of his hometown arena.

Home James CK will be available after the event to ensure everyone & their vehicle arrive home safely (by donation).

The Niagara Star Singers, Niagara's premiere show choir will be celebrating their 10th Anniversary with a Christmas Showcase "Winter Wonderland" at the Yellow Door Theatre, Line 2 Virgil on Saturday December 8th at 7:30 p.m.  This concert will be a fun evening of entertainment for the whole family with a reception at the end.  Tickets are available at the door.  $15/pp and 10 and under free

Community Event - Niagara - The Queenston Ladies Choir Christmas Concert

The Queenston Ladies Choir will present their annual Christmas choral concert - Christmas in Niagara - on Sunday December 2nd at 3 o'clock at St. Mark's Anglican Church in Niagara on the Lake.  Net proceeds will go the Niagara Musical Theatre & Voice Festival Scholarship fund for young singers.  Tickets are available at the door - $20/adults and $15 for seniors/students and there will be a reception following the concert.
