The Cultural Affairs team from the City of Windsor will host Windsor’s next Cultural Summit on Thursday, February 21 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Willistead Manor.

A formal presentation will be given at 3:30 p.m. and repeated at 5:30 p.m. Staff will provide an update on the Municipal Cultural Master Plan and facilitate a discussion on art, culture and heritage in the City of Windsor.

The evening will also include updates on current and past projects and initiatives; cultural performances and displays from some of the individuals and organizations that have received funding through the City’s Arts, Culture & Heritage Fund (ACHF) grant program; displays and activities from Museum Windsor; light snacks and beverages.

The following are included among the topics for discussion:

  •          Windsor Sculpture Park
  •          Museum Windsor
  •          Willistead Manor
  •          Arts, Culture & Heritage Fund (ACHF) grant program
  •          Windsor’s Poet Laureate Program
  •          Streetcar No. 351
  •          Windsor Culture Map & Community Stories
  •          Public Art Programs (Wall Space / Our Space / Street Space)

 

Interested residents are encouraged to register online in advance to attend the Cultural Summit at Eventbrite. However, you are not required to register ahead of time in order to attend.
