Peterborough Chapter #161 Order of the Eastern Star annual Christmas Tea & Bazaar.   $7.00 at the door.   Enjoy a tasty lunch in the Tea Room.   Baking, preserves, jams, pickles, candy, frozen turkey, beef, and apple pies, and apple crisp for sale, as well as crafts, new-to-you, books, CD's, several basket draws.  All proceeds for local charities.  Everyone welcome!!

The Baytones are expanding! We are looking to recruit new Tenors, Leads, Baritones, and Basses to sing 4 part womens  A cappella harmony.  Why don't you think of singing as a hobby.  It's good for the heart and the soul! The fifteenth annual Tweed Festival of Trees will be held this year, as always, the first weekend in December: Thursday, November 29th to Sunday, December 2nd at the Tweed Agricultural Building, 617 Louisa Street, Tweed. The theme this year is "Celebrate". A $2.00 admittance fee and a $2.00 raffle ticket can win one of over 80 decorated items. All proceeds are donated to projects involving youth in the Municipality of Tweed. Final draw: Sunday, December 2nd at 3:00 p.m. at the Agricultural Building.
