Carefor Health and Community Services Eastern is happy to announce our 2019 Camp Erin Eastern Ontario applications are now available on line at www.carefor.ca. Camp Erin Eastern Ontario is a FREE, weekend bereavement camp for youth who are grieving the death of a significant person in their lives. Children and teens ages 6-17 attend a weekend camp experience that combines grief activities and emotional support with fun, traditional camp activities. Led by bereavement professionals and caring volunteers, campers are provided a safe environment to explore their grief, learn essential coping skills and make friends who are also grieving. Registration is now open. Applications are available on our website at www.carefor.ca as well as via a link on our Facebook page Camp Erin Eastern Ontario. Camp will take place June 14 to June 16 at our host camp, Rideau Hill Camp in Osgoode, Ontario.

Come on out and enjoy good food and conversation with old and new friends on Wednesday, February 20th at 12 noon.  The menu for this Seniors Luncheon Social features homemade soup, chicken pot pie, potatoes, vegetable, dessert, bread and butter, coffee and tea and catered by Bill Grieve, the chef with Wheel House and Occasions Catering. The cost is $10.00 per person. There will be a presentation by Sandra Barnes from the Heart and Stroke Foundation on Heart Health. Reserve by the Tuesday prior at 12 noon, 613-476-7493.
