Hail the festive season at Cobourg's historic Trinity United Church. Northumberland New Ventures Band presents a matinee concert at 3 pm on Saturday, December 1st, featuring holiday music sure to lift the spirits of young and old alike.  Tickets $10, Age 12 and Under $5.  Includes light refreshments after concert. Community Event - Chatham - Family History Fair

In partnership with the Kent Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society (OGS), the Family History Fair will be held at the Chatham Branch of Chatham-Kent Public Library on Saturday, November 3 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Visit with local historical groups, tour local history collections, learn about online resources and get genealogy tips from experienced researchers. We’ve got kid’s activities too, so bring the whole family!

From 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, meet with genealogy and local history organizations at the Family History Fair Expo.  Visit all Expo booths for a chance to win a DNA kit, Family Tree Maker 2017 or a subscription to MyHertiage provided by Kent Branch OGS!

The Family History Fair is open to all interested and is free to attend. All events are offered at Chatham Branch, CKPL, at 120 Queen Street in Chatham.

The Road to Bethlehem is an interactive walking tour of the Christmas story, featuring over 100 participants, live animals, angels, shepherds, Roman soldiers, Innkeepers, Joseph, Mary and Jesus and more!  The tour ends in the church where you will be treated to hot chocolate and treats. Guided tours leave every 5 minutes, with music to enjoy while waiting your turn. 

This is an outdoor event, please dress for the weather!

Quinte Alliance Church is accessible and guests in wheelchairs are able to enjoy the tour depending on yard conditions.
