The Keene public library will be the site of a meet and greet with journalist Arnold on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 1-2 p.m.. The book includes the Otonabee townhship murder of young Donald Comrie.
The cases involved in the book are:
• Constable Norman Maker’s murder on Simcoe Street in 1928
• Eugene Lee’s shooting near Warsaw in 1932 which resulted in Peterborough’s last hanging.
• and the murder of Donald Comrie on Highway 7 in Otonabee Township
More than half the limited edition 260-page $25 paperback book, that takes the most in-depth
look at all three murders ever done, have been sold. There will not be a reprint. It is available
The Peterborough Examiner office on Hunter Street East, Trent Valley Archives, Happenstance in Lakefield, Warsaw’s municipal building and at the Keene Public Library.
