Join us on Sat. Feb. 9th from 9:30am to 5pm for a FREE informative, inspiring and empowering day that focuses on the context of climate change in Kingston, Ontario. Attendees will:

  • have an opportunity to express climate change priorities
  • hear a variety of perspectives on our current context and issues
  • learn about key climate change contributors
  • find out about what local champions and problem solvers are doing
  • have a chance to ask questions of panelists
  • meet local people making a positive change
  • explore opportunities and resources available in Kingston
  • have a chance to win door prizes

Come see Anne of Green Gables at Festival Hall this February! Performed by talented Ottawa Valley youths, this is a show for the whole family. There are five show dates: Saturday, February 2nd at 2:00PM; Sunday, February 3rd at 2:00PM; Thursday, February 7th at 7:00PM; Friday, February 8th at 7:00PM; and Saturday, February 9th at 2:00PM. Tickets are $25 for orchestra seats and $20 for balcony seats. Both prices are plus HST. Tickets can be purchased online at www.festhall.com or by phone at 613-735-2182, and the box office is open Tuesday-Thursday 4:00PM - 7:00PM and Saturday 9:00AM - 12:00PM. We hope to see you there!

Join us as George Parker discusses the period between 1783 and 1800, which marked the end of the American Revolutionary War and the beginning of the migration of United Empire Loyalist settlers to this area. He will discuss treaty signing and the creation of new land title laws. Watch for the upcoming February and March sessions!
