Community Event - Burlington/Oakville - Carolyn Cross: Edible history of Erchless Estate
Gardeners of Burlington presents guest speaker Carolyn Cross: “The Edible history of Erchless Estate”. Please come and join a friendly group of amateur gardeners interested in learning more about all aspects of gardening.
Carolyn Cross has worked in the museum field for over twenty years. She holds a B. A. in Art History from McGill University and a M. A. in Canadian Art History from Concordia University.
Carolyn worked at the McCord Museum in Montreal in collections management for seven years then moved to Oakville in 1999 when she joined the Oakville Museum as Assistant Curator.

St. Alfred’s C. W. L. is hosting a Snowflake Bazaar on Sunday, November 10th at 272 Vine Street in St. Mark’s Room from 9 am to 2 pm. There will be a penny sale, raffle, crafts, baked goods, candy, and much more. Everyone is welcome!
Community Event - Cornwall - The Patrons of St. Columban Foundation
The Patrons of St. Columban Foundation presents a fundraising concert with the St. Joseph’s Catholic Secondary School Choir and the Grateful Hearts Gospel Choir under the direction of Gilles Levac in St. Columban's Church on Sunday November 10th at 2pm. Join us for a time honored tradition!
The 86th Annual Port Hope United Church Christmas Fayre will be held on Saturday November 16, 2024 from 10am to 1pm. We will offer a wonderful selection of homemade baking, preserves, delicatessen foods, as well as handmade crafts, knitting and seasonal decor for your home or gifting. This event is wheel chair accessible, with free admission and parking. Cash only, sorry no debit or credit. All are welcome!
