ROCKIN’ THE TRUE NORTH

Simply stated, Canadians know how to rock.  The Great White North has produced some of the world’s finest artists and bands such as The Guess Who, Bryan Adams, BTO, Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell, Sarah McLachlan, and Lighthouse. The Peterborough Pop Ensemble celebrates the best of the Great White North when they take to the stage to present Rockin’ the True North on Saturday, April 27, 2019.  Show time is 7:30 p.m. at the historic Market Hall Performance Centre, Peterborough, ON.
 

As part of the Peterborough Pop Ensemble Charity Program, the Ensemble is honoured to support the Peterborough Humane Society with a portion of the proceeds from this concert.

The first matinee concert, "For The Love of Classical Romantics",  in a series of six, will be held at Smithville United Church 116 West Street, Smithville on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 2:00. This first concert features an amazing pianist,  Luis Gerardo Molina. Tickets are $15 or 3 for $35 or 6 for  $60 and can be purchased at the door. Following dates for a wonderful music experience for the winter season are Feb. 3, 17, March 3, 17, 31 and will feature various artists with a compilation of music to please the soul! The Rotary Club of St. Catharines-Lakeshore presents our 21st annual trivia game. A fun night of 100 questions designed by our own in-house team of quizmasters. Consistently one of the most popular reasons for our annual sell-out!

Approximately 500 attendees each year. Cash prizes for the top 3 teams! The same team has never won this event over the past 20 years.

Tables of up to a maximum of 8 people only allowed. Cost: Flat fee of $160 per table.

Doors open at 6:30 pm. Trivia will begin at 7:30 pm sharp.

Profits from the event in the past have been used to support local charities such as RAFT, The One Foundation, In-school Literacy Program.
