The Friends of Fort George is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with Parks Canada to preserve and promote the heritage of Niagara National Historic Sites. Through special events and the operation of two gift shops, the Friends of Fort George generate awareness and funds to support summer student employment at Fort George and Brock's Monument at Queenston Heights.

Community Event - Peterborough/Lindsay - Neuropathy Support Group Meeting
The Peripheral Neuropathy Support Group will be meeting on Monday January 21st at 5:30 pm in the the Banting Legacy Hall in the lower level of Westmount Pharmacy at Clonsilla Avenue and Charlotte Street in Peterborough. Please park in the rear parking lot of the pharmacy or in the one accessed directly from the street at the side. The door is kept locked so ring the bell if there's nobody at the door when you arrive.
The group provides a forum for discussion about living with peripheral neuropathy and where and how to seek professional assistance. It is open to anyone who has this condition or who has a loved one or associate who has.
