Support Group meeting for people living with Fibromyalgia (FM) and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), either diagnosed or awaiting diagnosis, as well as for their family and friends.

A Peer Support Group can reduce the sense of isolation you may feel by providing an opportunity to meet others who understand what it is like to live with FM and CFS.

We will meet in Rom 303.

Topic: Acceptance/Denial
- To what degree have you accepted your illness and moved 
forward in your life? How do you process grief and move 
towards acceptance?

Come and share your experience or learn some new techniques that may work for you.

Life After Stroke Peterborough  (a peer support group) meets the 4th
Wednesday of every month from 1-3:00 PM at Northminster United Church,300
Sunset Blvd (east off Chemong Rd just south of Walmart).  Survivors and
caregivers welcome. Wheelchair accessible but please arrive 15 minutes early
for elevator access.  Light refreshments provided. Next meeting Wed. 23
  January at 1PM.  Please join us.
