On Friday, August 23, 2019, YMCA Northumberland hosts the annual Strong Kids Duathlon to give local children the ultimate duathlon experience, with a goal to finish, not to win.
Participants will begin by swimming in the YMCA Centennial Pool followed by running a track through Victoria Park.
Donations to the YMCA Strong Communities Campaign will be accepted.
Different age categories to accommodate children of all ages, from three to thirteen years old. There are different distances, based on age, to give each child a fair opportunity. Please see the chart below for full details of the age divisions and distances.

Registration for the event is $15 per child, and subsidized registration is available. To register in advance, online at ymcanrt.org or stop by Cobourg YMCA. Registration will also be open at the event beginning at 5 p.m. in Victoria Park.

On Friday, July 12th, YMCA Northumberland will hold its Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Dalewood Golf Club (7465 Dale Rd, Cobourg).
Each year, the YMCA Northumberland Annual Charity Golf Tournament raises funds to ensure the YMCA continues to strengthen our communities through programs focused on improving health and wellbeing throughout Northumberland County.

On Saturday, March 23, 2019, YMCA Northumberland will host the second annual Wing Fling to raise money for the YMCA Strong Communities Campaign. Wing Fling is a fun and exciting social gathering with delicious food, family, and friends.

On Saturday, March 2, 2019, starting at 9:00 am, YMCA Northumberland is launching its annual YMCA Strong Communities Campaign with the kick-off events, Cyclemania and Dragonboat Tug-O-War
Cyclemania features themed CycleFit sessions where Individuals or groups can register for a minimum pledge per session.
Dragonboat Tug-O-War - Get six team members together and challenge an opposing team, or let us match you up. Be the first team to paddle the boat over the line to collect all the fiery glory! Registration is per team.

A one hour yoga session will be offered by Wallaceburg’s very own Cathy Cogghe from the Wallaceburg Wellness Centre from 2:30 pm-3:30 pm. St. John’s Ambulance therapy dogs will then come to say hello from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm and an arts and crafts table will be available nearby for those that are feeling creative! Please come on by and join us to boost your sense of wellness and community over the cold winter months!

At 6:30 pm A Perfect Fifth String/Piano Ensemble begins the evening with a selection of Christmas music. At 7:00 pm the Singalong begins featuring Christmas Carols old and new.
