Christmas in the Valley Artisan Show

Make your first holiday shopping destination the popular Christmas in the Valley Artisan Show where a juried selection of 30 carefully selected local artisans, crafters and bakers will be resenting their original creations in a relaxed, friendly and festive atmosphere this November 3 & 4th from 10am to 4pm at the Almonte Community Centre upper hall, 182 Bridge Street in Almonte. 

The Valley show always strives to bring in lots of new artistic talent and returning favourites to give you a wide variety of hand crafted items for those special people on your shopping list, great things to add to gift baskets, fill stocking and a few things for yourself too!

the Nosbonsing Daytime Curlers are looking for individuals interested in curling . No experience necessary!  "Learn to curl " sessions are scheduled for Sunday Oct 28 th from 10 until noon. Registration is required for this event at nosbonsingcurling@gmail.com. Reasonable full season, half season, or spare rates . We curl at 10 AM , noon, and 2PM . The Nosbonsing " Daytime Curlers " are looking for individuals to come out Tuesday s at 10:00 am , noon, or 2 pm to enjoy the sport of curling . No experience required, just a desire for some exercise and fun.  Reasonable Full season, half season, or spare rates to suit everyone's schedules . Orientation and general registration meeting on Wednesday October the 17th at 10:00 am at the Nosbonsing curling club, Astorville.  Haven't curled before?  We have a free " Learn  to Curl " session on Sunday Oct  28th from 10 until noon !  Registration for this event is required by emailing nosbonsingcurling@gmail.com. 

Come join us for an  Anniversary Roast Beef Dinner and music by the Niagara-on-the-Lake Ukesters on Sat. Candidates will share their views on relevant current community issues and answer questions from members of the public in attendance on Thursday, October 4 from 6:30pm to 9pm at the Harrow Agricultural Fair Building,134 McAffee Street, Harrow. Doors open at 6pm. All are welcome.
