Christmas in the Valley Artisan Show

the Nosbonsing Daytime Curlers are looking for individuals interested in curling . No experience necessary!  "Learn to curl " sessions are scheduled for Sunday Oct 28 th from 10 until noon. The Nosbonsing " Daytime Curlers " are looking for individuals to come out Tuesday s at 10:00 am , noon, or 2 pm to enjoy the sport of curling . No experience required, just a desire for some exercise and fun.  Reasonable Full season, half season, or spare rates to suit everyone's schedules . Orientation and general registration meeting on Wednesday October the 17th at 10:00 am at the Nosbonsing curling club, Astorville.  Haven't curled before?  We have a free " Learn  to Curl " session on Sunday Oct  28th from 10 until noon !  Registration for this event is required by emailing nosbonsingcurling@gmail.com.

ST. ALPHONSUS LIGUORI 125TH ANNIVERSARY OPEN HOUSE

All are invited to tour St. Alphonsus Liguori Church in Callander, Ontario, and explore historical exhibits and enjoy light refreshments during an Open House on Sunday, October 14 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.  This year, St. Alphonsus celebrates 125 years of serving the Catholic community of Callander and beyond.  On December 10, 1893, the church was consecrated by Bishop O’Connor, and although it was rebuilt in 1913 after a wind storm knocked it down, the church still stands in its original location.
