Annual Turkey Dinner at Emmanuel United Church, 458 Ashley, Foxboro Wed Oct 24 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.  Harvest vegetables, home made pies and all the trimmings.  Tickets $16 adults, $5 children, preschoolers free.  Reserve sit-down or take-out tickets with Bev at 613 969 1312 or leave her a message and she will get back to you.  All welcome.

Join us on Thursday, October 4 for a delicious Pasta Supper at Holy Rosary Hall, 35 Queen St. S., Thorold from 4pm to 7pm. (Eat-in or Take-out).  Choose pasta with either tomato or cream sauce, meatballs/sausage, salad and dinner rolls.  Coffee/tea included if eating in. Adults $12.00, children (under 10yrs old) $8.00. Catered by Antipasto's di Roma.  All proceeds to Holy Rosary Church.

In the Cataraqui Region are few things as awe-inspiring as the natural splendour of fall foliage, when the leaves on many species of trees change from green to radiant reds, oranges and yellows.

Visitors are welcome to come out to the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority’s Fall Colours Weekend (which is also Thanksgiving) from Saturday, Oct. 6 through to Monday, Oct. 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and walk or hike on our trails. CRCA staff will be on hand to suggest routes and provide maps. You can also purchase a mug of cider or snack at the Outdoor Centre and enjoy the view from the West Hall.
