As early as the Egyptians, string-operated figures, or marionettes, were used for interpretation and eventually to entertain. Children will create their own simple marionettes using easy to find materials. Children can sign up for the morning workshop from 9:30am to noon or the afternoon workshop from 1-3:30pm. Cost per child is $20. Children are required to bring their own peanut free snack. Registration is required. This workshop is appropriate for children ages 6-12. The Queenston Resident's Association will be holding their Garden and Plant Sale on SATURDAY, MAY 11TH from 9AM - 12NOON at the Queenston Library, located at 32 Queenston Street in the village of Queenston.
Come join us for a sale of beautiful plants, gently used garden accessories, tools and much more.
A grinder will be available to sharpen your dull tools at a cost of $2 per item or 3 items for $5.
