WERCC Partners with Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation for the 10th Annual Hats On For Healthcare
The Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our partnership with the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation on their 10th Annual Hats On For Healthcare fundraiser.
“This year is our 29th Annual Business Excellence Awards and the 10th Annual Hats On for Healthcare fundraiser so partnering was a unique way to celebrate each other’s success,” states Rakesh Naidu, Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce President & CEO.
The Hats On concept is simple. Anyone can participate on March 5, 2019 by wearing a hat to work, school, your service club or at home, then donate a toonie online at www.wrh.on.ca/HatsonforHealthcare.
For anyone who donates $10 or more to the Hats On fundraising campaign for digital imagining equipment, they will receive a tax receipt from Windsor Regional Hospital, and a promotional discount on the general admission price to the 2019 Business Excellence Awards, which takes place on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Caesars Windsor.
Show you care for local healthcare, wear a hat and donate $2. Donate more and receive $15 off the general admission to the Business Excellence Awards, the premiere Windsor Essex Business Event of the Year.

The Cultural Affairs team from the City of Windsor will host Windsor’s next Cultural Summit on Thursday, February 21 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Willistead Manor.
A formal presentation will be given at 3:30 p.m. and repeated at 5:30 p.m. Staff will provide an update on the Municipal Cultural Master Plan and facilitate a discussion on art, culture and heritage in the City of Windsor.
The evening will also include updates on current and past projects and initiatives; cultural performances and displays from some of the individuals and organizations that have received funding through the City’s Arts, Culture & Heritage Fund (ACHF) grant program; displays and activities from Museum Windsor; light snacks and beverages.
