C-K Remembers

Once again, Christ Church Chatham is calling on the community of Chatham-Kent to stand guard at the Chatham Cenotaph.    In honor of the 100th Anniversary of WW1 Armistice, Christ Church is calling on service groups, churches, businesses and individuals to stand vigil for a 64 hour period from Nov 8 – Nov 11th.   This is a non-denominational event, opened to all who wish to participate; coming together to honour our history and embrace our future.

The community successfully came together in 2017 in celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary, standing vigil for 150 hours.

Teams will take two hour shifts at the cenotaph.   Christ Church, with support from Revera Retirement Living – Blenheim Community Village and Revera Retirement Living, Ridgetown, will be opened during the vigil as a warm up spot; a place for participants to get a hot beverage and food.

C-K Needs You – anyone, group or individual – wishing to participate, please contact Christ Church at 519-352-1640 or churchoffice@christchurchchatham.ca
