The Keene public library  will be the site of a meet and greet with journalist Arnold on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 1-2 p.m.. The book includes the Otonabee townhship murder of young Donald Comrie.

The cases involved in the book are:

• Constable Norman Maker’s murder on Simcoe Street in 1928

• Eugene Lee’s shooting near Warsaw in 1932 which resulted in Peterborough’s last hanging.

• and the murder of Donald Comrie on Highway 7 in Otonabee Township

More than half the limited edition 260-page $25 paperback book, that takes the most in-depth

look at all three murders  ever done, have been sold.  There will not be a reprint. It is available

The Peterborough Examiner office on Hunter Street East, Trent Valley Archives, Happenstance   in Lakefield, Warsaw’s municipal building and at the Keene Public Library.

Tuesday Nov. 13 2018,at 6:30 p.m. at the Perth Lion's hall (fairgrounds),  our club is hosting a meet and greet to invite ladies from our community to see what our club is about, how we fund raise all year, to "give back to our community." We are a fun group of ladies, and we would like to meet you. Perhaps this club is just what you are looking for. We will have birthday cake and door prizes!
