Join the Pembroke Library on Tuesday, September 18th from 5-7 PM for our First Aid and CPR for Infants and Children. This course provides learning opportunities and safety tips for new parents. Each Thursday @ 7:00 p.m. the Lifetree Café provides an hour-long experience packed with interesting stories, fascinating people and lively conversation that will feed your soul. The main entrée at Lifetree Café is food for thought. Come and enjoy a comfortable safe place. A place to meet old friends and make new ones.
Admission to the 60 minute event is free. Snacks and beverages are available.

C’est avec enthousiasme que nous vous communiquons les informations relatives aux prochains ateliers.
Ces ateliers auront lieu au Centre Communautaire St-Jean Bosco situé au 1580, 10e av. Shawinigan (secteur Grand-Mère) tous les 2e mercredis du mois pour notre programme régulier et les 3e mercredis pour les cours d’initiation à des techniques de fabrication de bijoux. Nous débutons dès le mois de septembre pour terminer en mai. Les participantes devront arriver entre 9 h 30 et 10 h. Car les ateliers débuteront à 10 h pour se terminer à 16 h ou, avant, selon le projet. Les personnes devront apporter leur diner et le café leur sera fourni.
Le coût de participation pour chacun des ateliers est de 7$. Une personne désirant s’inscrire pour les 9 ateliers bénéficiera d’un forfait à 55$ pour son inscription et pour tout le matériel ce sera 82,50$. Il y aura un coût variable pour chaque pièce à fabriquer selon le coût réel du matériel qui sera la plupart du temps, fourni en totalité par l’animatrice. Une liste des outils nécessaires à apporter pour l’atelier sera mentionnée dans les divers médias dans les semaines précédentes. Cinq beaux prix seront tirés parmi toutes les personnes inscrites au coût total de 137.50$. Pour les bijoux le coût total est de 110$. Il y aura une journée d’inscription mercredi le 12 septembre de 8 h 30 à 16 h. Le premier atelier débutera à 10 h le même jour. Les personnes pourront réserver leur place pour un ou plusieurs ateliers ou tout au long de l’année. From Niagara to Israel with Love! Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of Israel. For the first time in history, Niagara Falls will be illuminated in honour of the Israeli National flag with matching fireworks to adorn the Falls on Saturday September 8. Celebrations in music and dance and the sound of many shofars will be held in Oakes Garden Theatre, at the bottom of Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls Ontario. Please bring your lawn chairs. City and Government Officials will be here to celebrate with us as well!
