The Town of Tecumseh Youth Advisory Committee is hosting their second annual Youth Career Fair on 1Wednesday, November 7 from 9am to 3pm at l’Essor High School (in the Auditorium), 3605 St. Gregory’s Road, Tecumseh. The event is open to all area Secondary School students and their families.

The Youth Career Fair provides an opportunity for youth to meet and interact with various sectors of employment, learn about education for employment opportunities and how to develop the necessary skills to obtain employment in their chosen field. Attendees will also be able to network with organizations and businesses in the community to learn about skills development and future employment at a time when University and College applications are underway.

Life After Stroke Peterborough  (a peer support group) meets the 4th
Wednesday of every month from 1-3:00 PM at Northminster United Church,300
Sunset Blvd (east off Chemong Rd just south of Walmart).  Survivors and
caregivers welcome. Wheelchair accessible but please arrive 15 minutes early
for elevator access.  Light refreshments provided. Next meeting Wed. 28
