Join the Oriana Singers for a cheerful Sunday afternoon in Port Hope. Traditional, spiritual and modern melodies saluting those natural waterways that comfort, inspire and sustain us, will lift your mood and leave you humming. Music Director Lynn Janes will weave musical threads from the choir, Robert Grandy’s piano, Debbie Fingas’ piccolo and flute, Ken Janes’ drums, Howard Bayer’s bass and Al Kirby’s banjo, into a colourful and pleasing fabric of sound. WOMEN’S CHARITY CONCERT IN SUPPORT OF RED CEDARS SHELTER
Loyalist College students raising funds to help fight violence against women. On Friday, March 8, Loyalist College post-graduate Public Relations - Event Management students will be hosting a Women’s Day Charity Concert event at the Belleville Club from 7 pm to 12 am in support of the Red Cedars Shelter. In addition, donations of new or unused toiletry and hygiene products will be collected at the event. Concert tickets are $10 and the event location is 210 Pinnacle St., Belleville. Enjoy live music presented by talented local performers, enter a 50/50 draw and more.
