Culture Days ~ The Art of Mehandi. On Sunday, September 30th from 2-4 pm, celebrate Culture Days as you explore the arts and culture of India with traditional henna mehandi and tasty treat sampling at the Brockville Public Library. Free and for all ages.
You will learn the basic foundation for building an open terrarium and how to care for your botanicals. $45 and all materials are included. New art exhibit by Mary & Rachael Groombridge, "Fixed Flux." Opens First Friday, Sept. 7, 6-9. Runs until end of the month. Everyone welcome, free admission.
St. John's Church Men's Group is hosting a Ham and Potato Casserole Dinner Sept. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church at 301 Main St. E. There will be ham, scalloped potatoes, coleslaw, dessert and a drink. Gluten free option will be available. Adults $12, Students $9, Children 6-12 $5 and children under 6 no charge.
