The Friends of the Brockville Public Library invite the public to Meet the Author Barry P. Hall, who will talk about his book Wages of War, A Sequel to Ghost from the Holocaust, on Saturday, February 23 at 2 p.m.
This book has a story within a story! Hall brings harness racing, fishing and a crime to the pages of the his book. Can veteran Serge Richardson live with what he has done?

Community Event - North Bay - Steps To The Past - Five Week Genealogy Course
“Steps To The Past” - The Nipissing District Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society will be presenting a five week, beginners only, course for those with no experience in genealogical research. An experienced instructor will show you the steps to discovering and recording your family history. Course will include record keeping, on-line research, documents, etc. The five week course will start on Saturday February 23rd and will end on Saturday March 23rd. It will be held in the Joan Duquette Room on the upstairs Mezzanine of the North Bay Public Library, 271 Worthington Street East, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00. A fee of $10 will be charged to cover the cost of the handouts. To allow for one-on-one assistance, the class size will be limited to five participants ONLY so preregistration is required by emailing nipissinggenealogy@gmail.com.

While frantically getting ready, Brooke and her husband discover that the hired help is coincidentally the boss' ex-daughter-in-law. Just when it seems everything that could go wrong has gone wrong, Brooke's boss has an unfortunate announcement to make -- though not as unfortunate as the candlestick attack, appetizer toss, and general chaos that then ensues...

Community Event - Niagara - Winter Bazaar at Stamford Lions Club
Hello everyone!
We are happy to share with you that we will holding our winter bazaar nov 2 &3 Sat 10am till 5pm , sun 10am till 4pm at the Stamford lions club , we will have over 40 amazing crafters and vendors on both floors. There will be a penny raffle as well as a 50/50 draw with all proceeds going to the Niagara children"s centre . We will have food avail for purchase on site, parking available in the back if needed. we will be handing out 50 swag bags each day for the first 50 through the doors each day. There is something for everyone! we hope to see you all there and hope you will help support our cause.
