The Assisted Living Southwestern Ontario began in 1938 with the opening of a workshop for both adults and children with disabilities.
Through the years, there have been changes in our community and in society but through it all A.L.S.O. has maintained its spirit and determination to provide the best possible services to adults with physical disabilities.
We are proud of our current accomplishments of creating an inclusive Neighbourhood of Care!

The Windsor International Film Festival is looking for energetic and fun members of the community who would like to be a WIFF volunteer.
This year marks the 14th annual Windsor International Film Festival. Since its inception in 2004, WIFF has functioned as an entirely volunteer run organization, and has grown to become a major event in the city. Last year alone, WIFF sold over 22,000 tickets over the course of the festival, and looks to increase that number this year.
"A large part of WIFF'S continued success is thanks to our dedicated volunteers" remarks WIFF Executive Director and Chief Programmer, Vincent Georgie. "They are enthusiastic about the festival, and we sincerely appreciate all the time and effort they give to the event."
Anyone with an interest in applying to volunteer for the 2018 festival, please fill in the online form at www.windsorfilmfestival.com, or contact Volunteer Directors, Bianca Rivera and Keely Murdock by email at wiffvolunteer@gmail.com. Please note that all volunteers much be at least 18 years of age.
