summer-long series featuring local musical talent and generously sponsored by

Presented by the Kemptville District Hospital Foundation - Saturday Sept. 29 at the North Grenville Municipal Complex starting at 7pm. Tickets $50 per person; phone 613.258.6133 x217 to purchase. Proceeds will be used towards the purchase of two new smart beds for the hospital.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County needs mentors. You already have what it takes to be a role model; all you have to be is a friend. An hour a week can make a difference at www.bigbrotherbigsisterslanark.ca.

On August 11 and Sept. 15, Rev. Lilian Patey will be hosting a healthy Palestinian cooking lesson and lunch at 11 a.m.  at Central United Church, corner of Brock & George Sts., Sarnia.

Come out and learn how to cook traditional Palestinian dishes. Then enjoy the delicious lunch.

Cost: $25 - includes lesson and lunch

There are only 12 spots available for each date, so register and pay early. Proceeds will be donated to our Palestinian widow.
