Ben TeKamp Memorial Award!

Don’t miss the deadline! One last call for nominations for the Fourth Annual Ben TeKamp Memorial Award – closing date October 8th, 2018

The award will be presented to an outstanding business that is new, or has reinvented itself, to meet the changing needs of Leeds and Grenville.  These nominated businesses will have displayed a strong sense of innovation and creativity.  Successful applicants for the award must be located in the Leeds-Grenville area. 

Last year’s recipients included, LeMar Luxe Spa Studio, Thousand Islands Hearing and Elgin Street Convenience and Gas.  In 2016, the honour was received by Eternal Care Cremation, Tech Tutors and the Dill Flower Studio.

Self-nominations are welcome, as are nominations of businesses you would like to see recognized for their contribution to the community of Leeds and Grenville.  In the case of being nominated by a third party, a nominee will be notified before their name is made public.  A brief account that highlights the nominee's contribution to the community of Leeds and Grenville will be required.   Award winners will be required to inform the TeKamp family how they used the bursary for their business.

The Ben TeKamp Memorial Award will be presented during a special ceremony on October 24th.  The successful recipients will be awarded a monetary prize to be used for further development of their business.
