In the Spring of 2019, Old Fort Erie will be presenting a series of four speakers and a re-enactment focused on the 18th Century history of Old Fort Erie. The 1764 fort and the growing community around the military post is the first English settlement in Ontario. The authors will discuss the soldiers, settlers and Indigenous people in the area between 1764 and 1800.

All talks start at 7 p.m. $10 per person per event or a $26.30 season’s pass for all Fort events. Reserve your spot online at www.oldforterie.com.

Are you over 50, widowed, divorced, separated or never married? Do you spend too much time in front of the television or computer? Are you tired of, or not interested in bars? Are you looking for social activities geared to you as an unattached single? 

We offer activities and outings for everyone: cards, dancing, a walking group, coffee nights, movie nights, dinners at a variety of restaurants, day trips, an annual picnic, etc.  If you don't see anything that catches your interest, suggestions and new ideas are always welcome! 

Our breakfast buffet/meeting is held every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. (doors open 9:30 a.m.) at Legion Branch 143, 1570 Marentette, Windsor. Cost is $9 per meeting attended (includes breakfast), and you will receive a calendar of the current month’s activities.
