The Jocko Point Community Centre will host a pancake breakfast on October 14 from 8 to 10 am. Breakfast includes eggs, sausages, pancakes, toast, juice, coffee or tea. Adults: $8. Children 7-12: $4. Children 6 and under: free. All welcome!

Join us as our 70-voice choir takes you “AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 SONGS (or less)”, with songs from all our favourite musicals! The choir is accompanied by a slide show commemorating the musicals and their stars, plus the countries we visit on our journey.

Christmas Delights bazaar at Emmanuel United, 458 Ashley in Foxboro from 9 to 2 Sat. Nov. 10.  Gift baskets, sewing & needlecraft, baking, preserves, evergreen arrangements, quality crafts, treasure room.   Enjoy a complimentary special treat in our Christmas Café. our thanks to our visitors.  $1 admission for Christmas Sharing and local legion poppy fund.  

Annual Turkey Dinner at Emmanuel United Church, 458 Ashley, Foxboro Wed Oct 24 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.  Harvest vegetables, home made pies and all the trimmings.  Tickets $16 adults, $5 children, preschoolers free.  Reserve sit-down or take-out tickets with Bev at 613 969 1312 or leave her a message and she will get back to you.  All welcome.

Join us on Thursday, October 4 for a delicious Pasta Supper at Holy Rosary Hall, 35 Queen St. S., Thorold from 4pm to 7pm. (Eat-in or Take-out).  Choose pasta with either tomato or cream sauce, meatballs/sausage, salad and dinner rolls.  Coffee/tea included if eating in. Adults $12.00, children (under 10yrs old) $8.00.
