Surf's up on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Seaway Mall in Welland! Join a wave of men, women, youth and children as you walk to WIPE OUT domestic violence in support of Women's Place. 

Put on some beachwear, come in from the cold and join for a 5 km mall walk and beach party. By raising pledges and walking, you will be supporting the life-changing services of Serenity Place (Welland) and Nova House (Niagara Falls), helping women and children to transition to lives free of abuse.

The event is perfect for walkers of all ages and abilities. Encourage your friends, family and coworkers to put on some sunscreen and register for this fun event!

Come to the Niagara Health Expo to connect with doctors, healthcare practitioners and wellness specialists. The free community event will be held on Saturday, October 20th, 10 am to 2pm at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre in St. Catharines. Registration opens at 9:30 am. Visitors can meet exhibitors, ask questions, view demonstrations, try samples, participate in activities and tests, attend expert speaker sessions, and get free chances to win prizes. A 50/50 draw and a silent auction will be featured to support the Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation. The first 100 people to enter the Expo will receive a gift bag filled with items from our event partners. The one day shop for health and wellness will cover an array of services and products, from head to toe. Get tips on prosthetics and orthotics, home health care, personal injury law, hearing aids, vision, dental, chiropractic, Family Doctors, COPD, fitness training and Pilates, pharmacies, naturopathic medicine, foot care, breast assessment, mental health and much more.

Event takes place Saturday Oct. 20 at the Legion Hall in Smiths Falls with a fabulous feast prepared by chef Joanne Edwards plus string music and a silent auction. Join us on Friday November 30th for the Steve Ludzik Celebrity Roast; with hometown hero Derek "the turk" Sanderson as our guest of honor.  This event supports our ongoing commitment for the Ludzik Parkinson's Rehab Centre located at Hotel Dieu Shaver.  We have corporate sponsorships available, tables to purchased and/or single tickets for what is going to be our best one yet.

Presented by Victoria Hall Volunteers.  The day long bus Tour is sold out, but tickets are still available for the Tastings Event, from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, in the Concert Hall, Victoria Hall, Cobourg.  An opportunity to support local farmers, whose products will be featured by Northumberland County chefs.
