A free workshop for seniors put on by Point Care Pharmacy on the importance of understanding your medications in order to optimize your health. A safe disposal site for medications will be available. To register please call 519-344-3017 ext 259. The workshop will take place at the West Lambton Community Health Centre.

On July 6, 13 & 20th hear tales of exclusion, strength, broken heartedness, drownings and disaster at Little Lake Cemetery and learn a bit of Peterborough area history in the process.  What were the circumstances around the death of prominent mill owner Samuel Dickson? What was peculiar about Freddie McMaster’s demise? What happens in the sudden collapse of the Turnbull building?  These questions and more will help you discover stories of Peterborough’s fascinating past.

The production runs at The Kordazone Theatre, 2520 Seminole Street for six performances: July 13, 14, 15, 19, 20 and 21.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening shows are at 8pm. The Sunday matinee (July 15) is at 2pm.

Tickets are available online at Eventbrite (one price only; $20). Tickets are also available at the box office of the theatre a half an hour before each show begins, or in advance at Nancy Johns Gallery and Framing, and at Juniper Used and Rare Books. Tickets can also be reserved by calling 519- 562-3394. Tickets at the door, or at our ticket outlets have three price points - $20 for General Admission, $15 for Seniors, and $10 for Students. Thursday, July 19 is Pay-What-You-Can.
