Mobilité car elle permet à la personne de se situer, de se déplacer, de détecter les obstacles.

Sécurité car elle permet également à la personne de signaler sa déficience. Cet aspect est important tant pour la personne ayant une déficience visuelle que pour les usagers de la route, automobilistes, motocyclistes, cyclistes et piétons…

Beginning Tuesday, July 3rd 2018 and continuing daily (except Monday) until labour day, Scottish Teas will be available from 1-4 pm at Hutchison House Museum, 270 Brock Street, Peterborough. Scottish Tea, served on the terrace in the period garden, includes fresh baked scones, preserves, whipped cream, oatcakes, and tea, lemonade, or ice tea. Complimentary tours of the 1840s restored stone house are included with the teas. The cost for tea is $10.00 for adults and youth, $5.00 for children under 10 years of age. Community Event - Brockville/Prescott - Meet the Author Tim Bouma re Tom Thomson

Author Tim Bouma will be at the Brockville Public Library on Thursday, June 14th at 6:30 p.m., to talk about the Group of Seven member artist Tom Thomson.

Tim's book, Tom Thomson Journal of My Last Spring, is about the days leading up to Tom's disappearance on July 8, 1917, in Algonquin Park, with his body surfacing days later in the waters of Canoe Lake.

Learn more about this quiet artistically gifted man, whose mysterious death was never satisfactorily solved.

Tim's book will be on sale, at the Library, starting June 14th, for the entire month.

This speaking engagement is free to the public.

Explore eight beautiful gardens of Bay of Quinte at the 19th annual Town & Country Garden Tour.  A self-guided tour giving you the opportunity to mix and mingle with other garden enthusiasts and to meet the delightful host gardeners. A boxed lunch and drinks are included, and there is a raffle table with generous gifts from many sponsors. All proceeds go to the CFUW Belleville & District Scholarship Fund to support deserving graduates of Hastings and Prince Edward District secondary schools as they continue in post-secondary education.

We welcome you to join us June 23 from 3-9 at Club La Salle (111 Arthur st, St. Catharines) in support of pathstones mental health. There will be over 50 amazing vendors, XPrime the band will be playing, Bonez Poley will be doing stand up comedy, we have a DJ and will be raffling off some pretty awesome prizes!
