Community Event - Niagara - Open Door Days
Explore the site of the oldest home in St. Catharines with interactive tours, learn about heritage conservation with live demos, participate in hands-on crafts and activities with various community vendors, and enjoy ice cream as you discover our plans to adaptively reuse our 1850s Dairy into an ice cream shop.
Open Door Days are open to the public by donation. Your donations go towards future programming and special events, as well as our ongoing restoration work.

The famous Thamesville Threshing Festival parade begins at 6:30pm on June 21st. Parade route will be same as always. Starts at corner of Wallace and Mary. This is a rain or shine event.

Community Event - Niagara - Natural Pigments Watercolour Workshop
Join The Brown Homestead for a unique heritage workshop blending art with nature! 🎨🌷
Led by watercolour artist Rémy Bles, participants will mix natural pigment watercolour paints before a step-by-step watercolour painting lesson of the John Brown House.
Guests will also enjoy wine and pastries while learning about deconstruction and sustainability topics as well as the restoration projects happening at The Brown Homestead.
